From providing funds to transport kids to perform at the Illinois State Fair to the installation of a solar array to help defray utility costs at a county-owned nursing home, Program Assist has provided funding to a vast range of projects with one trait in common, the ability to make a difference in the lives of individuals in Northwest Illinois.
Program Assist is an initiative of the Stephenson Nursing Center Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation organized exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific and educational purposes.
Charitable activities are focused mainly on health, human services, the elderly, veterans, the environment, providing assistance and awareness of the Stephenson Nursing Center, a county-owned and operated residential home, and fostering low-income housing.
